In the heart of Somerset, lie the Quantocks, the first ever designated AONB in the country.

Self catering holiday cottages in the Quantock hills don't come more charming than the cottages at Higher House. We have two lovely cottages set within grounds which have fabulous views from the Quantock hills. 

We have a cottage with a double bedroom and a second cottage with a  double and single bedroom.

  For the more active, the self catering cottages also have access to the on site tennis court and each cottage has tennis balls and rackets.

 Both cottages make the ideal base for a self catering holiday in the Quantock hills.  They have a light and airy feel with locally made beech kitchens and cupboards.

The Quantock based cottages are converted stabling from the charming 17th century Higher house.   

The cottages are next to a swimming pool which is a veritable sun trap.  The pool is shared by the two cottages.
