In the heart of Somerset, lie the Quantocks, the first ever designated AONB in the country.

These romantic self-catering cottages are for rent all the year round. They have stunning views of Exmoor and are set in 8 acres with the Quantock hills rising behind them.

We have one cottage with a large double bedroom and a second cottage with a  double and single bedroom.

  For the more active, the self catering cottages also have access to the on site tennis court and each cottage has tennis balls and rackets.

The cottages are approached down 8 garden steps which lead into their own courtyard containing the swimming pool  - which in the summer, is a veritable sun trap.  The pool is shared by the two cottages.    

 Both cottages make the ideal base for a self catering holiday in the Quantock hills.  They have a light and airy feel with locally made beech kitchens and cupboards.

The Quantock based cottages are converted stabling from the charming 17th century Higher house.
